Zest Restaurant in Cape Town is owned and operated by Bulgarian-born Chef Pavel Dimitrov. With 26 years of experience in leading Johannesburg and Cape Town restaurants, including Vilamoura, Pigalle, NV-80, and Utopia Cape Town (where he was co-owner and Executive Chef), Chef Pavel opened Zest Restaurant in the New Kings Boutique Hotel in June 2021. He emphasizes fresh, high-quality ingredients and believes that "fresh is best and less is more." ​
